Thanksgiving…known to be a day of lots of eating and most people are gonna be digging into millions of Turkeys.
But, I, being vegan will be digging into a vegan “ham”. A lot of people ask me what I do for the holidays. So here is what my Thanksgiving will be looking like. Hopefully it will give you some ideas if you want a Turkey Free Turkey Day…I will also be posting links to other peoples vegan dinner ideas!
Field Roast’s Celebration Roast and Tofurkey’s Slow Roasted Chick’n
Both options are really awesome and tasty! I am using the “chicken” in a salad and eating the roast with some ‘tators and gravy (Made with vegetable broth and mushrooms)
I am eating coleslaw (dressing made with Veganaise), mashed potatoes, gravy (as I mentioned above), Daiya Cheddar Mac n Cheese, bean salad, and random veggies! Very tummy, filling, and somewhat healthy while maintain that comfort food feeling!
I will just be making an apple cobbler of sorts. Made with a gluten free walnut/ oat based crust and homemade cinnamon apples my family canned from their garden!
