Resolutions with Results

I know, I know…everybody is sick of New Year’s resolutions. But how much of that because we never get around to them…so they result in you being disappointed?I know that was often the case. But maybe we can make 2019 a little bit different.

First step: Get Yourself a Calendar. Whether you use the one on your phone or you get yourself a day planner. You are going to want a visual for your goal setting!

Second Step: Separate Your Big Goal Into Bite Sized Ones & Date Them. Let me give you an example. Say you want to loose weight. That is a commonly made goal made in January. But a lot of times we don’t even know how to start or our goal weight is intimidating. I will use my personal weight-loss goal as an idea of how to break  up your goals.

Step three: Have a Good Accountability Partner. Find someone you trust to help hold you accountable to your goals. Whether it’s a friend, a therapist, a trainer, etc…it helps to have someone to talk to and ask you about your goals.

Step four: Just Do It. You can have all the tips and tricks in the world, but if you are not motivated to do it…you won’t. So you just have to push through that little bit of uncomfortable and do it.

That is all for tonight! I hope you all have a wonderful night! I will see you on Monday.

I just laid out my goals for the year too! I even purchased a “Habit Tracker” in Wonder Woman print to help me keep up with the habits that eventually lead to yoal fulfillments…instead of just a “Today’s to do’s” list that might leave out such mundane things as daily habits. I’m pretty excited about it if you can’t tell!!
