We all know eating right and exercising is the success to losing weight in a healthy way…but here are some tips that may have flown under your radar.
Sleep! I know, feels a little bit weird that laying down for 8-9 hours a night could help you shed the pounds…but it’s true. This is one that I need to work on. You produce a growth horomone when you are getting your Z’s that repairs muscle and helps you burn fat!
Drink Tea. By tea…I am not saying those sugar heavy teas from Dutch Bros you have been sipping on. Herbal and green teas made at home are the way to go. Not only are they yummy but they can help boost the metabolism…which helps you burn the fat.
Caloric Deficit. We all know a healthy diet helps shed the lbs but…sometimes you find yourself at a standstill even when you are only feeding yourself healthy foods? You probably are missing a caloric deficit. THIS DOES NOT MEAN STARVE YOURSELF. It’s calculating the amount of calories you need to eat to maintain energy while letting your body burn off the fat. Mental Health. Yes! You are trying to change the physical weight but getting rid and sorting through your mental junk can literally and metaphorically lift the weight off your….body! Having a healthy mindset helps accomplish any goal faster. But especially when your physical health is at stake. The mind runs the body…help is work better!
HIIT Workouts. Yeah, yeah. We need to workout. We know. But do you know what kind of workout you get more band for your effort? HIIT workouts are awesome for when you have little time and big goals. They provide a way to workout and rev up that metabolism so that you continue to burn calories when you leave the gym.
